|REQUIREMENTS:||**?BLUEBERRY CONTESTANTS:?MUST BE A RESIDENT OF PEARL RIVER COUNTY** **?HOSPITALITY CONTESTANTS?: MUST BE A RESIDENT OF PEARL RIVER COUNTY, IN SCHOOL AND MAINTAINING A 2.5 SCHOLASTIC AVERAGE (on a 4.0 system) FOR THE LAST COMPLETED SEMESTER AND NOT OLDER THAN 24 BY JULY 2016 **MUST NOT BE, OR HAVE BEEN MARRIED, OR HAVE CHILDREN**|
|Admission Charge:||$3.00, Children 5 and under Free Admission includes both sessions|

Interview for Teen, Miss and Hospitality @ 10:45a.m. (meet in lobby of school)
Please arrive at least 20 minutes before session time.
1ST HALF at 1:30 p.m.
- BABY MISS BLUEBERRY 0-11 MONTHS **
- TODDLER MISS BLUBERRY 12-23 MONTH**
- WEE MISS BLUEBERRY 2-3 YEARS**
- TINY MISS BLUEBERRY 4-5 YEARS**
2ND HALF begins at 3:00 p.m.
- LITTLE MISS BLUEBERRY 6-9 YEARS**
- JUNIOR MISS BLUEBERRY 10-12 YEARS**
- TEEN MISS BLUEBERRY 13-15 YEARS
- MISS BLUEBERRY 16-18 YEARS
- PEARL RIVER COUNTY’S MISS HOSPITALITY 19-24 YEARS
Ages may be combined if necessary. **These age groups will not speak.
BABY MISS BLUEBERRY through JUNIOR MISS BLUEBERRY
Any adult who accompanies the contestant out onto the stage MUST be dressed in appropriate attire for the
pageant, such as nice pant suit, skirt outfit, or dress.
PAGEANT ATTIRE: Ages 012 (Mother’s Choice of Party Dress or Pageant Dress)
TEEN MISS BLUEBERRY, MISS BLUEBERRY, AND PEARL RIVER COUNTY’S MISS HOSPITALITY
PAGEANT ATTIRE: (INTERVIEW: Suit or Sunday Best; PAGEANT: Long Gown)
APPLICATIONS: Three (3) copies of your Application must be submitted along with three (3) walletsized black &
All Blueberry winners in each division will be awarded a beautiful crown and Blueberry banner. The 1
st alternate in each division will receive a trophy. A 2nd alternate trophy will be based on the number of contestants. Crystal will begiven in place of trophies to the Teen, Miss, and Hospitality divisions.
Blueberry Queens will be asked to represent the Blueberry Jubilee at special events & parades in Pearl River County. This will be part of wearing the Blueberry Crown.
Hospitality Queen will be asked to represent Pearl River County at the 2017 State Miss Hospitality Pageant in
Hattiesburg, MS, meet all State Pageant requirements, and to represent Pearl River County at special events.

Contestants will be judged on the following areas?:
0-9 years?: Appearance, Personality, and Presentation
10-18 years?: Appearance, Poise, Stage Projections, and Overall Appearance (Stage Projection Stating name and contestant number)
Hospitality Division 19-24:?Appearance, Poise, Stage Projection, 20 second commercial, and Overall Appearance.
(20 second commercial is an original 20second commerciallike speech on the importance of Pearl River County)
MISS & TEEN contestants: INTERVIEW will be based on the contestant’s information sheet and history of the
Blueberry Jubilee and blueberries (can be found at ?blueberryjubilee.com?or ?some information will be given to
contestant before Interview?)
HOSPITALITY contestants: INTERVIEW will be based on facts based upon Mississippi’s economic development and tourism.
All Judges Decisions Are ?Final
?Judges will be from out of town, unbiased and very experienced in Pageant judging. Please do not call and
inquire about the judges. No ?information will be given out!!
Score sheets will be mailed after the pageant for a $5.00 fee and do not necessarily contain comments from the
judges. *order forms at entry table*
All winners are to stay for a photo session immediately following the crowning of winners.
