Poplarville Storytelling Guild

The Poplarville Storytellers Guild was founded in 1986.  The purpose of the organization is to have fun through the preservation and promotion of storytelling.  The Guild meets the first Tuesday of each month for the sharing of tales at the Methodist Church Youth Building in Poplarville.

Traditionally the Guild also hosts two annual events:  The Blueberry Jubilee Storytelling Festival which takes place the second weekend in June, and on the Saturday before Thanksgiving, TELLABRATION, when the Poplarville Guild joins in this international event sponsored by the National Storytelling Association.
