Date:  Saturday, June 8, 2013 (Blueberry Jubilee Day)
Place:  Poplarville, Mississippi (Race begins on Main Street)
Registration is in front of the Poplarville Superintendent’s office (302 S. Julia St.)
Time:  1 Mile Run begins at 7:30 AM
5K Run begins at 8:00 AM
Registation begins at 6:30 AM
Course: Slightly Hilly
Entry Fee: $20.00 Pre-Registration by May 31, 2013, $30.00 Day of the Race (Tax deductible)

  • Guarantee of T-shirt of Race Day Only if application is received by May 31, 2013.
  • Drawings will be held for blueberry plants.
Trophies:            1 Mile Fun Run – Trophies to first place Boys and Girls, 12 and under in 1 Mile Run Medal will be awarded to the first and second place in each age group.  All 1 Mile runners, 12 and under will receive participation ribbons.

Boys: 6 and under, 7-8, 9-10, 11-12
Girls: 6 and under, 7-8, 9-10, 11-12

5-K Race – Grand Prize Trophies to Overall Male and Female Winners of 5K Run.  Trophies to First through Third Places in each of the following age groups in the 5K:

 General Information:  We invite the entire family to come and enjoy the exciting Blueberry Jubilee featuring a Blueberry Queen contest, sale of Blueberries and plants, tour of USDA Research Center, music groups, Arts and Crafts sales, entertainment all day, Blueberry Food Fest, Antique care show, storytelling and much, much more?  Food will be served all day by local civic clubs.  We look forward to welcoming all our may past participants and those who will experience the Blueberry Jubilee for the first time.  Its great family fun and we hope to see you on Saturday, June 8th, 2013.
